Seen through the eyes of a child, the new AW16 collection from Beau Loves takes it's inspiration from Beau's fascination with outer space, galaxies and science. Scatterings of hand-drawn constellations adorn midnight black empire line dresses, coppery metallic moons spread across dawn-pale grey jersey and ghostly faces loom out of the dark on soft black knitwear.
Combining crisp woven cottons, thick loop-back jersey and cosy jacquard knits, this collection has a playful take on the dark side. Midnight blues, copper, grey and black, (lots of black) all combine to create a feel of a crisp winters night, pin pricked with stars and a slight fear of the darkness...
I really love the way Beau Loves have photographed lots of the pieces and prints in the collection on both girls and boys this season, showing just how versatile and perfectly unisex so much of it is.

As the nights draw in and the evenings get darker....it's the perfect time to explore the constellations and dream of other galaxies with Beau Loves.
