When looking at pictures of children's clothes on-line there can sometimes be a vital missing feature: the child. The essential element that shows how the clothes will hang, and fit, on a real actual person. Unfortunately not all of our brands produce lifestyle images of their clothes on kids, or not for every single product. Which is a shame, really, as seeing the clothes 'in action' is often really helpful for our customers.
This week, therefore, we are delighted to show you some pictures by Kate, from A Playful Day, of her daughter (aka The Tot) as she had a good muck around testing some new clothes we sent her by Finnish kids clothing label Papu Stories.

Made from thick organic cotton, Papu make great quality kid's clothes that are designed to last, with cuffs that can be turned back or left down as your child grows. The playful prints, stunning colour palette and easy shapes make them super child friendly, too. Seeing The Tot enjoying her clothes makes us love the clothes, and the brand even more. We hope you like seeing them in action too. You can read Kate's full post about what she and The Tot thought of the Papu Stories clothes and see loads more pictures here. If you'd like to see the clothes in motion, check out Kate's gorgeous video on Instagram, here.
To tie in with Kate's lovely blog post, we have a great competition running, over on our Instagram. For the opportunity to win a Papu Stories Ruutu Grid Dress just repost the image onto your own timeline (you can download a free app called Repost for Instagram to do this if you don't have it already). Tag your friends in the comments on our Instagram post to tell them about the competition and you could win yourself a £25 voucher to spend at Yellow Lolly too. Nice.
The competition ends at midnight (bst) on Tuesday 6th October, when two winners will be drawn at random, one from the reposted images to win the dress and one from those who have tagged their friends in the comments to win the voucher. Make sure you use the #yellowlolly hashtag so we can find your competition entry.
