The Sands Resort was purpose built for families. There are children's clubs for babies up to teenagers and child care sessions can be tied in to health and beauty treatments.

Childcare and facilities: The NippersClub for babies less than two years old, the Pirates Club for two to three years and the Adventure Club for four to 6 years are all charged according to the age of the child. The O-Zone for seven to 12 years is free. The hotel offers organised children's entertainment, qualified child carers, baby listening, early suppers and children's menu, baby food preparation rooms and an hire shop for baby/toddler equipment. Facilities include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a leisure complex with health and beauty clinic, an outdoor play area, squash and tennis courts, volleyball, croquet, boules, skittles and a nine-hole three par golf course.

Accommodation: Double or triple bedrooms. There are 70 two-room family suites.

Prices: A family of four with children under seven staying in a two-room family suite costs from £615 per week on half board basis including all sports facilities.
